The Property

The Waimara property is located on Rea road, Katikati. It is 2.4ha (5 acres) block of land surrounded by orchards and a river. There is a large variety of fruit and nut trees including plums, apricots, apples, pears, nectarines, figs, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, and plumcots. There are large gardens containing many different varieties of plants. All the water used on the property including the hydroponics and drinking is taken from the river. The water is filtered and ozonated to remove any contamination. We use mostly organic sprays on the flowers such as neem oil, vectobac and garlic and pyrethrum.
