Macadamia nuts

Welcome to Pahoia Macadamias! We are macadamia nut growers located in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Macadamia nut trees are evergreen trees that grow to 4-6 metres tall. They grow best in warm conditions. Their main requirements are good drainage, a pH balance of 5-6, average rainfall and plenty of light. Macadamia nuts are very healthy. They are high in fibre and contain no cholesterol. They are a rich source of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The body needs these and they can be found in macadamia nuts.
