Specifications (of a brief)

In a brief, specifications define (the nature of) the appearance and performance requirements against which an outcome can be evaluated as fit for purpose (by key and wider stakeholders). The specifications may also include constraints on both the outcome and the practice to be undertaken to develop it. 

 Example: Hot Bread – This Techlink Classroom Practice case study includes the development by the students of specifications of a brief and the use of those specifications in the assessment criteria for the project. Level 4.
