Vector

Vector is a common data model made up or points, lines, curves or polygons. Instead of using pixels for storing image information it stores a set of properties that describe the objects attributes, dimensions, and position in the image. CAD (Computer-aided design) programs and drawing applications such as Macromedia Freehand produce vector graphics.
