Servo Motor

A servo motor, or servomechanism, (often shortened to servo) is small motor with a moveable output shaft that can be positioned to specific angles by sending the servo a coded signal. Servos are commonly used in robotics and in such things as radio-controlled cars and airplanes to position wheel direction and control surfaces such as the elevators and rudders.
