Evidence (and reasoning)

Confirmation; substantiation. Specific information gained to enable design decisions to be justified with regard to both technical feasibility and socio-cultural acceptability. Such justification will rely on the synthesis of information gained from modelling that sought feedback from different stakeholders.

Example: Kitchen Contours – This unit, based around kitchen design and assembly, clearly illustrates how evidence and reasoning supports decision-making. Levels 11-13.
