Cold saw

A cold saw is similar to a drop saw used for wood but has been modified to cut lengths of steel. With a cold saw, all metal to be cut is held in place with a mechanical vice. The rotating speed of the blade is also slower and there is a storage tank under the table which administers coolant directly to the blades to prevent sparking and overheating.
