Social networking is a collection of websites that allow you, the user, to share infomation, chat to friends, or design and create various things from web pages to virtual reality environments. The most common trait for social networking websites is moving icons or advertisements.

It can pretty much be guarenteed that if you have internet, you will have used a web 2 website. There are hundreds of different sites that are included in the Web 2 category. Some examples are Youtube, Myspace and Facebook. These have been recognised as some of the most popular web 2 sites to be used on a regular basis.

Evaluation

I believe that this project ran really well. Our team worked fantastically together and we got along well. I think that if we had a little bit more time to virtual conference and connect with the Australian team our project would look better. The communication was good at times, but it worked a lot better when we used Skype towards the end. If we had used Skype for the entire project we probably would have been able to communicate easier, but before we had Skype installed we had to use Elluminate which didn't work as well on our network.
