Parents Section Survey

With the parents section now completed a short survey has been added. Visitors to the parents section have the option to 'Make a Comment' via the left hand toolbar. The Make a Comment option includes a short introduction and three questions relating to the content.

Feedback will be used to assess if the section is complete or if other resources can be added.

Media

Nick made contact with Australian website Curriculum Leadership Journal (CLJ). Nick submitted some additional text with links to Techlink to support an abstract currently on CLJs website based on an article from Computers in NZ Schools. Read more at Innovative secondary school ICT case studies.

A piece about Techlink has also been written and will soon be added to the 'What's New' section. This new piece will contain links to the Student Showcase, the parents' information section, and the Street Luge case study.

Pre-service Lecturers Feedback

After speaking with Wendy Fox-Turnbull during last months TENZ Workshop, Nick extended an opportunity for Wendy and her peers to give feedback on how Techlink could better fit the needs of pre-service lecturers and student teachers. Wendy tabled this at the pre-service lecturers Hui.

The feedback has been sent to Nick who has circulated it to the Techlink team for discussion at the 1 May team meeting.

Miscellaneous

2,600 copies of the technology brochure have been distributed throughout the month. 22,700 copies have been requested to date.
