Over the year, students design and create a video game prototype, a logo and accompanying marketing materials. /CP1203.htm /CP1203.htm CP1202: Technology Research School From PLD of the Technological Literacy research project, syndicates taught a unit based on a shared theme. This case study focuses on a Year 2/3 Games unit and a Year 4 Moving Toys unit. /CP1202.htm /CP1202.htm CP1201: Dressing table design Year 11 students at Westlake Girls' High School designed a dressing table inspired by a chosen designer, in a successful trial unit implementing the newly-aligned 2011 Technology standards. /CP1201.htm /CP1201.htm CP1104: Retail Design Year 11 students at Whangarei Girls' High School worked on a trial Retail Design unit in which they designed a logo, shop front and interior to fit their individual themes. The students modelled their designs through sketching and cardboard mock-ups and promoted their work in an A2 presentation. /CP1104.htm /CP1104.htm CP1103: Implementing the Technology curriculum Oamaru Intermediate School Technology teachers (Art, Electronics, Hard Materials and Fabrics/Food) have made changes to their programme as the result of some intensive PLD with TIC Technology Deidre Senior and National Technology Professional Development Facilitator Cheryl Pym.
